So I took my kid out on his "mountain" bike around the neighborhood to teach him how to shift gears and when to shift, etc. I'll tell ya, he's a fast little bugger on that bike!
We went by Performance today to pick up some biking gloves for him. They didn't have any kids gloves left (damn it...they're half the price of adult gloves, plus all their kids stuff is 25% off right now), so we got him a pair of Performance's brand women's small gloves...in blue. They match his bike, I now realize. :) And can I just say YAY for Performance points? We got those gloves for $4.88!
He and I just finished 2.6 miles in the neighborhood. I'm proud to say that I wasn't even winded. :D,
